Located near Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Grand Teton (at 13,775 feet) is the highest point of the Teton Range, and the quintessential peak of the American West.

While the origin of its name is disputed, the most common explanation is that "Grand Teton" means "large teat" in French, named by French-Canadian or Iroquois members of an expedition led by Donald McKenzie. Other historians claim the mountain was named after the Teton Sioux tribe of Native Americans.

Whatever the true origin of its name, the Tetons are recognized the world over by their sharp rise over the pristine valley thousands of feet below.

This detailed and beautifully printed poster of the stunning peak portrays the mountain using dark grey contour lines indicating elevation. Letterpress printed on premium tree-free paper, the poster is 11x14 and shipped flat, ready for framing or simple hanging.
